USG Sheetrock® Brand All-Purpose Joint Compounds can be used for embedding tape, finishing second and third coats, and simple hand-applied texturing. This compound combines single-package convenience with good taping and topping performance. The compound features excellent slip, good crack resistance, and low shrinkage for ease in joint finishing. Its excellent bonding properties are retained even under humid job conditions. It is also ideal for skim coating gypsum panel surfaces, laminating gypsum panels in multi-layer partitions and ceilings, and for repairing small cracks in drywall and plaster surfaces.
